Abstract

Optical manufacturing technology, which features ultra-precision processing and measurement technology, has played a major role in promoting the development of cutting-edge technologies such as space gravitational wave detection, space high-resolution imaging optics, ground-based space target detection and recognition, inertial confinement fusion and extreme ultraviolet lithography. It is also of great importance in the development of high-end precision equipment. At present, the most challenging ultra-precision optical components include large aperture aspherical mirrors applied to large space optical telescopes and ultra-precision freeform mirrors for EUV lithography. This talk will introduce the current R&D results in manufacturing and measurement of large aperture space telescope mirrors and EUV lithography optics.

以超精密加工与测量技术为特征的光学制造技术,在推动空间引力波探测、空间高分辨率成像光学、地基空间目标检测与识别、惯性约束聚变、极紫外光刻等前沿技术发展方面发挥了重要作用,并且在高端精密设备的发展中也具有重要意义。目前最具挑战性的超精密光学元件包括应用于大型空间光学望远镜的高精度大口径非球面反射镜和用于极紫外光刻的超精密自由曲面反射镜。本次报告将介绍当前在大口径空间反射镜和EUV光刻光学器件的制造和测量方面的最新研究成果。

Biography

Xuejun Zhang received his Ph.D degree from Changchun Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (CIOMP) in 1997. He is now Deputy Director and Chief Engineer of CIOMP, also director, researcher, and doctoral supervisor at the Key Laboratory of Advanced Manufacturing Technology for Optical Systems of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Zhang has been engaged in optical system design, manufacturing and testing for more than 20 years, and led his team in achieving a major breakthrough in the high-precision manufacturing technology of 4.03 meter-caliber SiC mirrors. The overall results are of world-leading level. He is also the team leader of the 30 Meter Telescope (TMT) Tertiary Mirror Manufacturing project. As principle investigator, he has completed a number of national research projects and won five National Awards for Achievements in Science and Technology. He was supported and rewarded by the National "Outstanding Youth" Fund, the Qian Xuesen Outstanding Contribution Award of the China Aerospace Foundation, and the Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Society for Space Science. Dr. Zhang is Fellow of SPIE and member of OSA and has published 161 peer reviewed papers.

张学军,1997年于中国科学院长春光学精密机械与物理研究(科院长春光机所)获博士学位,现任科院长春光机所副所长、总工程师,同时担任科院光学系统先进制造技术重点实验室主任、研究员、博士生导师。张学军博士从事光学系统设计、制造和测试工作20余年,带领团队在4.03米口径SiC反射镜高精度制造技术上取得重大突破,处于世界领先水平。同时,他也是30米望远镜 (TMT) 三级反射镜制造项目的团队负责人。作为首席科学家,完成多项国家级科研项目,获国家级科技成果奖5项;先后获得国家“杰出青年”基金、中国航天基金会钱学森突出贡献奖、中国空间科学学会科技奖等支持和奖励;他是SPIE会士,共发表同行评审论文161篇。
